Consumer and market researcher The NPD Group has just released a new report entitled “Online Gaming 2008″ that has given us some interesting numbers about online game play. The group surveyed 20,240 people and found that there has been an 8% increase in the percentage of people that play video games in the U.S. since 2006. And what really matters to us is that more than half of those players go online to play.
Not bad if you ask me but there’s no doubt those numbers are on the rise and as time passes and World Gaming grows, these numbers will too.
